Experiencing God's Grace
Immanuel
Immanuel Lutheran began with a small group of German immigrants in 1861. The following year they were able to purchase a building at the corner of 6th and Madison that served as their church and school house. From those humble beginnings God has blessed Immanuel with His Word and Sacrament. We are now located at 10th and Lincoln with a Church, School, and Learning Center. For over a century and a half we have been blessed to serve in Bay City and we would love for you to come and see Immanuel, God with us!
What to Expect?
You can expect to hear the love of God in Jesus Christ through our liturgy and preaching. Worship at Immanuel is regularly led by organ. The last weekend of the month, most months, our music is led by our praise and worship team. We are also blessed with a wonderful music ministry that uplifts our services with student and adult choirs, hand bells, and a variety of soloist and ensembles throughout the year.
Our mission is for Immanuel to be a church where you are "Experiencing God's Grace, Growing in His Word, and Serving others in Jesus' name."
