The Rev. Kevin Jones was installed at Immanuel Lutheran Church on August 14, 2011, as its senior pastor. Pastor Jones, a native Michigander, graduated from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, in 1988, and has served previously as assistant and associate pastor at St. John’s Lutheran Church in West Bend, Wisconsin (1988-1994), and at Peace Lutheran Church in Rogers City, Michigan (1994-2011). He has also served as Chaplain for the Wisconsin Federation of Lutheran Altar Guilds and as Michigan District Counselor for the Mackinac Straits Circuit. He is a certified Prepare-Enrich Marriage Counselor, has been trained in the “PeaceMakers” ministry, and has participated in Grace Place ministry. Pastor Jones and his wife Amy have one son, Ian, a graduate of Immanuel.
