Mrs. Betsy Bourassa has been Immanuel’s Parish Assistant in Christian Education and Youth Ministries since 1998. She grew up in Sebewaing and graduated from Saginaw Valley State University in 1981, with a major in Social Work and a minor in Sociology with some advanced studies in Psychology. Betsy is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and has interned at Bay Arenac Mental Health and at The Lutheran Home in Bay City. She is active in community service, has a passion for outreach, feels blessed to work with children and youth, and truly loves meeting and getting to know people. She enjoys dancing and walking workouts. Betsy and her husband Ron Bourassa have one grown daughter, Tiffany (an Immanuel graduate).
