Holy Saturday

Easter celebration begins in darkness for our Holy Saturday service. The Christ candle is processed in as worshipers recall the hope that we always have in Christ. The readings provide an overview of the Scriptures and prayer as a proclamation of the Word of God that all Christians believe. The congregation remembers their baptism, as this was traditionally a service where new members were baptized and brought into the Church. We conclude with celebrating Holy Communion and the first Alleluias of Easter break forth as our service concludes points us to the day Jesus rose from the grave.
