Worship - Saturday 5pm, Sunday 10am
Our worship style is historic and traditional. We utilize elements of worship established in the Old Testament and the historic Christian Church. We incorporate more contemporary elements into this format such as Children’s Message each Sunday and contemporary hymns sung by our choirs or performed by our Blended Service musicians & singers.
Music is a very important part of our worship setting. Utilizing our 33 rank Tellers pipe organ as well as, vocal & handbell choirs, instrumentalists and bands praises and thanksgiving are offered to our gracious God each time we meet.
We alternate worship settings so that our congregation is educated should they attend other LCMS churches which may use an alternate setting. For those familiar with Lutheran Service Book (©2006) our worship rotation consists of:
- 1st Weekend of the month: Divine Service Setting III (very traditional setting from TLH)
- 2nd Weekend: Divine Service Setting IV
- 3rd Weekend: Saturday, Divine Service I; Sunday, Service of Prayer & Preaching
- 4th Weekend: Saturday, Evening Prayer; Sunday, Divine Service I
- Last Weekend is a Blended Order of Worship with hymns played on keyboard, guitars and mandolin.
We look forward to worshiping with you!
