Tuition

Tuition Costs
As a parish school, we
receive most of our financial support from the members of Immanuel Lutheran
Church. Those members young and old, have been convinced of the value of a
strong Christian school for 145 years, and they
have been willing to sacrifice to maintain their school.
Non-Member Tuition
Tuition is required of parents who are not members of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Rates of
tuition are established by the Board of Christian Education. Payments are received in nine
installments (August 15, October 1, November 1, December 1, January 1, February 1, March1, April 1, and May 1.)

Member Tuition
A member assessment rate is set for families that hold membership at
Immanuel Lutheran Church. Payments are received in nine
installments (August 15, October 1, November 1, December 1, January 1, February 1, March1,
April 1, and May 1.)
A one-school-year member assessment exemption is
granted to each family in an amount equivalent to the total amount contributed by the
family to the parish during the previous calendar year.

*Each family will be granted an assessment exemption in an amount
equivalent to the total amount contributed by the family to the parish during the previous
year. (For example, if a family contributed $1,200.00 or more to the parish through their
offering envelopes during 2007, there would be no assessment for 2008–2009. If a
family contributed $500.00 in 2007, there would be an assessment of $700.00
for 2008–2009. If a family contributed $0 to the parish in 2007,
the 2008–2009
assessment would be $1,200.00)
Parents who have recently become members
of Immanuel Lutheran Church, but who were members and financial supporters
of another congregation during all or a portion of the previous calendar
year may request through our School Principal a partial or full Member
Assessment (tuition) exemption. Valid written documentation from the
other congregation will be required before an assessment exemption can be
considered.
Preschool Tuition
Preschool tuition is payable in monthly
installments, with the first payment due at the time of enrollment, the
second payment due October 1, and the remaining
seven payments due at the first
of each month, beginning November 1. The initial payment is non-refundable unless space
limitations prevent us from enrolling the child in Preschool.

Kindergarten Deposit
A deposit is required for Kindergarten
enrollment. It is due at the time of enrollment, and costs $100.00. This deposit is
non-refundable unless space limitations prevent us from enrolling the child in school.
Change of Status
The parents of non-member tuition students of Grades K
through 8 shall be assessed "member" tuition fees effective on the date they
become members of the congregation by transfer or confirmation, provided
tuition and fees are current at the time.
Full Payment Required
While in rare instances it may be necessary for a family to fall behind in payment of
tuition and fees, the following limitations have been established.
Children will not be permitted to maintain their
enrollment beyond October 1 when less than one-tenth of their annual educational fees,
non-member tuition, member assessments, preschool tuition, and publication fees have been
received.
Children will not be permitted to maintain their
enrollment into the second academic marking period when less than fifteen percent of their
annual educational fees, non-member tuition, member assessments, preschool tuition, and
publication fees have been received.
Children will not be permitted to maintain their
enrollment into the second semester when less than 30% of their annual educational fees,
non-member tuition, member assessments, preschool tuition, and publication fees have been
received.
Children will not be permitted to maintain their
enrollment into the fourth academic marking period when less than one half of their annual
educational fees, non-member tuition, member assessments, preschool tuition, and
publication fees have been received.
Children will not be permitted to maintain their
enrollment into the month of May when less than 70% of their annual educational fees,
non-member tuition, member assessments, preschool tuition, and publication fees have been
received.
