Immanuel Lutheran Church
Immanuel Lutheran Church – our church – is a Christian congregation presently numbering nearly 2000 baptized members. As was true of our predecessors, by God’s grace through the power of the Holy Spirit, we, the members of Immanuel, profess our saving faith in our redeeming, once crucified, and now ever-living Savior and Lord.
What We Believe
Immanuel Lutheran Church is a member of The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS). As confessional Lutherans, our beliefs can be summarized in three phrases:
- Grace Alone
- Faith Alone
- Scripture Alone
Under the Constitution and Bylaws of Immanuel Lutheran Church the Congregation has authority to decide all matters relating to the Congregation or Congregational affairs. The Constitution entrusts most administrative and management responsibilities of its affairs to the Church Council.
Pastoral Care and Worship
Wedding information can be secured from the Church Office. However, the date and time of a wedding cannot be confirmed until the couple has met with a pastor.
Baptisms can be scheduled through the Church Office. We encourage that children be baptized during the worship service, thereby allowing the congregation to add its support and prayer in behalf of the “new child of God.”
Funerals can be scheduled through the Church Office. Please contact us to arrange the celebrating, respecting, sanctifying, or remembering the life of a person who has past unto God.
Worship at Immanuel is exciting and vibrant because it is where God has promised to meet with His people. Sharing His gifts of Word and Sacrament, God meets, forgives, blesses and sends His people each time we meet.
